Barack Obama's speech last week at the Democratic National Convention was no doubt a good one. It accomplished what he wanted: inspiring Americans with powerful themes, appealing for noble causes. Our economy is really humming! 6.1% unemployment and the federal government just swooped in to salvage our two largest mortgage lenders. Your economic views are myopic and your breadth of political knowledge is narrow at best. Stick to a diary.

i find it hard to disagree with this article. to the guy who mentioned the 6.1 unemployment: do you realize that 5% unemployment basically means it is nonexistant? to go below 5% is almost impossible when you have to include the people looking for jobs, in between jobs, etc. this is a refreshing view to the Obama party.
