Before the beginning of this past football season I wrote an article that began by saying TCU was not getting any recognition as a BCS buster. While they might not have crashed the BCS party, it was still an exciting season, capping it all off with a 17-16 win against then-No. (0) comments

"Teams that want to play in March have to have good Februaries." That was head coach Jeff Mittie's message to his team as they prepared to start the second half of conference play with a home game against Colorado State University on Saturday. If the Lady Frogs' 71-59 win over the Rams was any indication, the team is listening so far. (0) comments

After Friday's meet against the University of Utah, head coach Richard Sybesma said the H20 Frogs proved they will be a team to be reckoned with if they can consistently rise up to the occasion. For some, the end of fall sport (notice I said "sport") signals the beginning of a lull in their level of passion for college athletics. Sure, there were other sports in action during the fall semester, like volleyball, swimming and diving, soccer, tennis and golf, but we all know football reigns supreme in Texas, and that's no different here at our university. Quarterbacks TCU: Sophomore quarterback Andy Dalton is coming off one of his worst games of the season against Utah, completing just 16 of his 37 pass attempts and throwing two costly interceptions on drives at the end of the second and fourth quarters. But it's worth noting that he threw nine touchdowns and no interceptions in the three games prior. (0) comments

A friend of mine asked me who I thought the best cornerback in the NFL was Sunday night during the Cowboys game. I turned to him and said, "When he's healthy, it has to be Terence Newman. His interceptions are low, but that is only because offenses don't bother looking to his side of the field. (0) comments
