The No. 21 women's tennis team pulled away late with a tight 4-3 win over Auburn University on Sunday at Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. With the win, the team's spring record now stands at 3-2. It was the team's second consecutive win over a top-25 opponent. (0) comments

Win is team's third in conference

The Lady Frogs needed a convincing win after Brigham Young University came to Daniel-Meyer Coliseum earlier in the week and gave the team its conference loss in a 16-point beating. Fortunately for Jeff Mittie's squad, the team proved it could out-athlete the Air Force Academy, winning 79-43. (0) comments

Women's team gains important conference victory

The H20 frogs ended their home season on a high note, as the men and women's team notched sizable victories. The women won two matches, defeating conference opponent San Diego State 85-55, and Centenary College of Louisiana by a score of 80-51 in a three team meet. (0) comments

Saturday's successful meet held special significance for the senior members of the men's and women's swimming and diving squads. It was the final home meet of their careers at TCU. "It's always good to go out on top," said senior swimmer Jason Hauck. "I've been swimming and participating in meets here for four years, so it's sort of strange knowing I'm not going to be coming back, but it's a good way to go out. (0) comments

Following Saturday's game against Air Force, women's head basketball coach Jeff Mittie said the Lady Frogs need to do a better job of maintaining their focus if they hope to build on the early success they have had in conference play. "Teams that want to play in March have to have good Februaries." That was head coach Jeff Mittie's message to his team as they prepared to start the second half of conference play with a home game against Colorado State University on Saturday.
