Men's basketball suffers fourth straight conference loss The Horned Frogs fell to Colorado State University 71-65 on Saturday night on the road. It was the team's fourth straight loss in the Mountain West Conference. The team's record now stands at 13-10 overall. (0) comments

The No. 21 women's tennis team pulled away late with a tight 4-3 win over Auburn University on Sunday at Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. With the win, the team's spring record now stands at 3-2. It was the team's second consecutive win over a top-25 opponent. (0) comments

There will be a Mardi Gras celebration Monday in the Campus Commons hosted by Programming Council and the International Student Association. The event will feature the band Professor D, the TCU Soul Steppers, stilt walkers as well as cultural drumming, international student's band performances and henna tattoos. (0) comments

Coach: Tennis team faces greater challenge this year

The women's tennis team is set to return to action Saturday against the University of Virginia. The No. 25-ranked Horned Frogs will face off against the No. 41-Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Va. Last March, the Horned Frogs topped the Cavaliers by a score of 6-1. (0) comments

The Horned Frogs missed the offensive presence of freshman guard Ronnie Moss in Saturday night's loss against the University of New Mexico. Moss missed the game because of a violation of team policy. The good news for the team is that Moss will be eligible to play in Wednesday's road game against San Diego State University. (0) comments

Women's basketball falls to New Mexico on road The Lady Frogs met the same fate as the men's squad Saturday, falling to the University of New Mexico 75-63 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The conference loss puts the team's record at 12-7 overall and 4-2 in the Mountain West. (0) comments

The 2009 Horned Frog football schedule is still missing one opponent, but not for long, according to Jack Hesselbrock, associate athletics director for internal relations. Hesselbrock said the athletic administration has reached an agreement with a school, but wants to wait to make an official announcement. (2) comments

Lady Frogs top Rams with overall effort

"Teams that want to play in March have to have good Februaries." That was head coach Jeff Mittie's message to his team as they prepared to start the second half of conference play with a home game against Colorado State University on Saturday. Coming off a momentum-changing win at home Saturday, the Lady Frogs are in Laramie, Wyo., today to face the University of Wyoming Cowgirls in the first of a two-game road swing. TCU split the series with Wyoming last season, winning at home and losing on the road. (0) comments
